The highly successful rapper/artist, Post Malone, has just dropped his third studio album that is quickly heading for U.K.’s number one spot. Soon after that, this third album will be the second album of his to reach no. 1 on the Billboard’s top 200 charts. Malone revealed the cover art for the new upcoming album on his social medias.

Billboard.com predicts that Malone’s latest studio album will sell close to 500,000 copies by the end of the week. From the reviews and feedback received from the album, people have been impressed with the way his voice can mix extremely well with other artists, as well as branch out from his usual genre of rap and hip-hop, into producing more moody underlying tones with sad messages attached to them.

This album features a plethora of featured artists, from DaBaby to SZA, Halsey, Future, and even Ozzy Osbourne. A recent poll posted on Billboard.com lets readers vote on the best song from the album that features an artist, and currently at the time of this article, ‘Die for Me’ feat. Halsey and Future takes second place with 21.57 percent of the votes, and ‘Take What You Want’ feat. Travis Scott and Ozzy Osbourne takes first place with 40.67 percent of the total votes. While the idea of Ozzy Osbourne and Post Malone blending together on a song might seem strange, but fans seem to really be loving it.

What makes the album so intriguing is how Malone can shift different tones on the beat, and you almost never know what you’re going to get. ‘Die For Me’ featuring Halsey and Future, perfectly exemplifies how well Malone’s unique voice can blend well with others’ voices and ranges. Halsey and Future also compliment Malones’ voice, and no artist on any song is ever over powered by another.

‘Bleeding Hollywood’ is Malone’s experiment, a way for him to play around with his emotions to see what kind of songs he can make from them. Instead of focusing on beerbongs and bentleys, he chooses to look into the harder side of life, and calls out the people who have done him wrong. Fans notice that his new music video for a song on the album, ‘Circles’ takes on a different narrative than his other hits that have been made into videos, like ‘Congratulations’. The video takes on a darker approach, with a ‘Game of Thrones’ medieval feel to it. Adorned with silver armor, the knighted Malone battles others on a blood-filled field, seemingly a metaphor for fighting different situations or emotions.
