From scary movies to serial killer podcasts, pop culture is swamped with horror content. Horror literature is just as prolific, providing everything from subtle psychological horrors to graphic descriptions of gore. The following six books span a wide range of horror subgenres and are ordered in chronological order, starting with the most recently published.
